It’s a holiday to commemorate Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire. It’s a celebration of independence and freedom! Freedom is the common theme! ✨

Enjoy this beautiful day however you CHOOSE to spend it!🎊

Remember in the US - the country that is founded on ideals of freedom and independence, not all are truly free. 😔

We are less than a week away from our Inspire Changes Event: “Women Who Make A Difference” Spring Giving Gala, and WE WANT YOU TO BE THERE! Its going to an an evening of fun, connection, great food, and inspiring, even visionary speakers - whose messages can make a difference in YOUR life.

It wont be the same without you! don't deprive others of what you can offer by your unique participation!

We intentionally scheduled it for the Saturday before the Mother’s Day Sunday. What better way to celebrate women and acknowledge that in our beautiful and well-to-do county we have women and children who are literally NOT free.

What would your mom really want you to do? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Does she really need flowers, gifts, cards and a brunch? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Or would she want you to be a part of something that will make her heart sing with joy, knowing that she had raised a caring, compassionate and generous human being who contributes to the community and cares about others? 🙋🏼‍♀️

But, this is not “either/or,” let’s BE in “yes/and” mode!🔥❤️🔥Be with your mom AND come.

This is a text message from one of the ladies the week:

“Good morning Dr. it's C—- (name redacted). I just wanted to let you know again how beautiful I feel. I don't know if I ever told you this but when I was 19 and trafficked for the first time, I was taken to Mexico. My traffickers had intended to leave me there with several teeth that they knocked out. I had no way of getting help. Here I am now 36, and my entire mouth for the past few years have been in nothing but pain. Leaving me with so many insecurities. Every picture I have of me my mouth is closed. No smile. And every day since you gave me these new beautiful teeth, I look in the mirror and think about how else I want to improve myself, now I feel confidence again. I just wanted to send you a little message and let you know how grateful I am for you. I'm sorry about all the appointments I missed in the last year that wasn't fair for you and your business. I hope you can accept my apology and know that you have made a Survivor feel beautiful again .
